Upload an image to get started Three steps: make it stitch-ready, check it, send it to the digitiser.

Make it stitch-ready

Removes the background, reduces the picture to thread colours and sharpens every edge. One click.

Simple: text and flat logos. Standard: most logos. Detailed: badges and crests.

Design width (mm) Smallest detail (mm)

Anything smaller than the smallest detail at that stitched width is merged into its neighbour. 0.8mm is about two thread widths.

Check and fix

Zoom in with the buttons under the picture and look around the edges. Then remove anything that should not be there.

Now click the bit you want gone.

Advanced tools

Crop

Detects the background, trims empty space around your logo. Run this first if your image has padding.

Smoothness20

Click a pixel in your background (or Auto corners) and the removal applies instantly. Raise Strength if any fringe remains. Raise Smoothness for softer edges.

Flatten Colours

Target colours8

Replaces gradients with solid colour regions. Better for embroidery — each region becomes one thread. 6-10 colours is the sweet spot for most logos.

Clean & Enhance

One-click cleanup for low-quality uploads. Removes JPEG noise and compression artifacts, smooths jagged edges, keeps logo outlines sharp. Run this before upscaling for best results.

Upscale & Sharpen

Edge sharpness50

Bicubic resize with edge-aware sharpening — smooths flat areas, keeps edges crisp. For logos under 800px, try 2-3×. Traditional upscaling can't add detail that isn't there — for true quality restoration from low-res sources, AI super-resolution (see below) is needed.

AI-Powered Neural

AI Background Removal — cleanly isolates your logo or subject with pixel-perfect edges. Handles photos, complex backgrounds, and anti-aliased edges that manual tools can't. Requires sign-in.
